Mixed platforms

I own a Galaxy s4 phone and an iPad mini2. Both devices have the DJI Go app installed.
I use the iPad exclusively but ran into the situation last night where my the iPad ran low on power rather quickly. My question for the forum is this; can I switch over to the Android phone to continue flying or would I encounter firmware/software problem?

Hi.
I do it occasionally with my nexus 7 and my iPhone 6 plus.

I perceive that the iPhone app is much more stable.

I have only had application issues with my iPhone 6 once (phone freeze and had to be restarted mid-flight with the last update).

The nexus 7 however, has lost connection multiple times and with the last update it occurred twice on the same flight.

This Is probably not something that everybody has problems with.
