Mini HDMI (shield tablet) to phone?

Is it possible to set up my phone (micro usb/HTC) for a 2nd person as VR goggles with a cable from my Nvidea Shield mini HDMI?
That way I fly LOS using the Tablet whilst the 2nd person gets fpv. I'm trying to save buying dedicated fpv goggles, hence the phone as fpv.

Should be if your accepts line in for the HDMI, I have the Shield and Fatshark goggles and the tablet performs well when you select the option.

No. There are very few, if any, mobile devices that take HDMI input.
