I've mentioned a few times already that I done some flights last weekend, I thought its about time I share them here too. I'm a member of a few car clubs, last Sunday we attended an annual meet organised by the Mazda car club of Australia. Another member from the RX8 Club mentioned to the organises that I had a Phantom and asked if they would mind if I flew it at the meeting, once they knew what it was, they were eager to see what it could do.
A after wrangling a few people to act as spotters for me I was confident I could safely fly providing the weather was acceptable. The weather on the day was little to no wind, fairly overcast and no rain, almost perfect for what I wanted to do. I've bought a tarot gimbal but it hasn't arrived as yet, so this was recorded using the good ol' $50 servo gimbal on a sh***y iso mount (keep a spoon handy for the Jello)
