Hello. I have conducted a test since I have suspected my manual focus being off for a long time, and now I have proof.
Check this out. The distance shown is between 23 meters (circled table) and 35 meters (wall with decorations) away. Infinity setting in manual is the worst in all distances.
It seems my focus wheel is 1 (closest) > 7 (infinity) and after that, I don't know where it goes. 8 is worse than 7 and 9 (infinity) is worse than 8.
It is possible 6 is even better than 7 for infinity but I never tried it. You can see auto (which is set to about 20 meters away) renders about the same quality as 7.
Which of 7 and Auto do you think renders the best quality? What should I do with my camera? I'm on iOS.
