Maiden Flight

Just got my first ever UAV and never having flown anything before I was a bit trepidatious about launching it. Particularly as it was blowing a gale last night and still gusting all day. Eventually late afternoon I decided it was now or never and hit the throttle control. This was the result! I'm quite pleased that despite the slightly heavy landing which accounts for my worried look but all went well and no damage was done. I'm lucky to have a perfect practice area right from my back door Enjoy !

First flight is Amway cool. Next you will want to start improving on the video by learning to make slow even turns and moving about as to not get the props in the shot. Now the real fun begins. Planned flight and planned shots.

Thanks, yes I didn't know how responsive the controls would be and obviously I was too heavy handed with them. That's something I'll be working on to finesse my control and touch for the sticks
