I've hacked the iPhone Mount for the P2V transmitter. It's a $10 quick solution to mounting your smart phone each time you're ready to fly. So here it is:
Two things you need:
1. Original P2V transmitter with smart phone clip
2. Magnetic smart phone Holder for your car. You can find one here http://amzn.com/B00GXXHGLE

Once you have these two. Go ahead and swap out the clip for the magnet mount. All you have to do is unscrew and pop off each adapter. Once you have switched over the magnetic adapter to the P2V transmitter go ahead and apply the metal plate to your choosing to the iPhone itself or the case. This kit comes with both the adhesive plate and a standalone plate which you can put inside/outside of a phone case.
Once everything is put together it's as easy as slapping your phone onto your transmitter and removing it whenever you need. This is a strong magnet so you shouldn't have any issues with it falling off.
