I am a Mac user I have downloaded the Assistant software for Phantom 2 but every time I plug in my Phantom the assistant default to The Vision software.This means I am unable to switch on the tilt for my gimbal.I know that this has been covered and that I have seen on one forum a solution for those using PC is there a Mac solution?

Do you have a Vision or a Phantom 2? You can't use the Vision software with the Phantom 2 and vice versa.
I haven't had that problem, nor have I read about it. Application opens for the P2 every time.

I made sure I got the software from the Phantom 2 support page, but an earlier "Release Notes" page said this,
"PHANTOM 2 and PHANTOM 2 VISION will share the PHANTOM 2 Assistant Software.". Perhaps that was a PC thing.

Have you tried hooking up the USB cable, turning on the Phantom and then launching the application on your Mac?
