at first the problem was and underpowered motor or two so on expected takeoff the quad just tipped over. then today I was going to see what was up and this happened... any help would be appreciated.

Connect to the NAZA assistant and run advanced calibration, etc ,. re-do the compass dance perhaps.
always good to do so after a crash or similar.

I'm on a mac (os 10.9) and the drivers seem to only be Windows. True?

Install bootcamp, vmware/parallel, or go buy a cheap windows laptop on ebay
