Lost connection to the camera

Hi everyone, this is not new as everyone seems to be having this issue. Last time I used the Phantom 2 v+ everything was fine and took video as well as pictures. About 6 months went pass and I decided to get it out to find I had no live feed to the phone and all it said was broken link. I checked out the sites and blogs and downloaded the latest firmware and upgraded everything. Still not working.

I read on one blog that it was most likely to be the WiFi signal transmission module. £130 lighter and fitted it I still have the same issue. Can someone help here, when the new transmitter arrived it had 2 x QR code stickers along with it but each one had a different QR
code
Can someone tell me step by step what I need to do to set this new transmitter up please

Have you tried re-pairing the controller to the drone?
 
Tried Linking in the app?
(There is a DJI video showing How to do this. Linking/Pairing)
Button reset on side?
Checked the ribbon cable?
DJI assistant?
Lightbridge is the video transmission, not the WiFi.
