Went out this morning to get some photos of snow fall from last night. I was up about 390 feet and around 1000 away, when I look down and saw critical battery flashing, my volts still looked good. Fortunately I was able to bring her home and land safely. The battery was purchased Black Friday and haven't had any problems. Yesterday I drained that battery to 8% to do a full re charge on her, and that was the first time I have done that to a battery. Any of you guys experience this or other recommendations.
Forgot to mention, everything is updated, and outside temp was around 12 degrees, if that makes a difference.

We heard from someone in the "know", drain to 3% then charge full to reset. Wink wink, he is in the know

Were you batteries warm (inside temp) or cold (outside temp) before flying?

They were warm, I had them inside all night, put it in the bird, and walked outside.

What is the best way to drain a battery in general
