That all looks ok, can I see the first screen, I need to see what your toggles are set at! You might have to sent it for diagnostic repair? I've never seen that before, only thing I can think of that it might be is it is in ATTI mode and not GPS mode? Not sure?

Yes sir. I am going to recalibrate everything one more time and send in if it doesn't help. Thank you for all your help

You changing your gains at all? In first pic 200 in last pic 260?
Plus change your VERTICLE to ( 140 )

One other question,
Which version of assistant you using? Yours looks different than mine? ( I might be out dated? )

Don't know the weight. Only changes have been China gimbal new legs as in the picture in the beginning of video and bigger antennas for camera wifi

My other, small quad copter does what your Phantom is doing when the batteries reach about 40 % also.
It just seems to lose it's motivation.
The Phantom is vastly more complex.
But the cause should still be the same....less current reaching the motors for whatever reason.
That's the only way you lift off and hover. The controller allows more current to flow to the motors than at idle. More current = more torque, higher RPM, more lift.

If only you could determine exactly what's reducing the current, you'd solve the mystery (right?)
Is it the battery? The Controller board? The Naza? You need that data diagnostic tool ianwood has.

But one thing....the fact that you lose connection to the app.... maybe the Phantom is going into auto land because it knows battery power is low and it can't RTH due to low power....so it just reduces power to land? Grabbing straws. I'm sure that's not it....just throwing stuff out.

OK something interesting I just took it out knowing that it was calibrated correctly and level everything is right on it it flew normal in the beginning as I got lower on battery I brought it in close and low and when I would yaw clockwise it would drop all the way to the ground but counterclockwise would hold its position. Gyro?

One other interesting thing. When I plug my camera all in and spin yaw, the camera goes crazy jerking around like it totally disoriented. Using a China gimbal.
