So I took my beloved phantom down to to Lake Powell and flew it into a cliff (warning: don't fly unless you have satellite lock. I took a chance and it burned me)
I bent/ruined the gimbal. the camera is fine but the gimbal is bent and ruined. I took it apart and easily can replace the gimbal arm assembly. However DJI just sells the entire camera/Gimbal combo for $700. All I really need is the Gimbal arm assembly (with ribbon cable). I got thinking... perhaps someone drowned their bird and ruined the electronics on the camera, but their gimbal is still intact. If you did and replaced your camera/gimbal that was water-logged, or perhaps ruined the camera but the gimbal is still fine, then drop me a note and I can make you an offer to buy the old gimbal.
