Greetings. So I’m in the sav ga area. I have a preowned p3p and have never got the props to move. It’s always “rc signal lost” or “command timed out”. I was wondering if there was a place or another pilot nearby to look over everything and see if it’s the equipment? Also could it not be responding because it’s not been registered? Like I haven’t done anything aside from taking it home and attempting to update the software.. I feel like my mom vs the vcr right now

Pick up a more recent drone. There are many great deals out there on the Mini 3 Pro, the Air 2s even the Air 3

Have you ever seen this drone fly?

To contact others in your area, post in the 'Regional Meetups' section on PhantomPilots and see if someone nearby responds.

In the meantime, checkout 'Phantomhelp.com' Just be sure to select the correct Phantom model (P3P) for any information you need. (Phantomhelp.com is provided by an approved vendor, msinger, here on the forums.)

The indication that 'RC signal lost' sounds like the link between the RC and bird has been lost. Normally an easy fix. Just check out the re-link procedure in the P3P manual (can be downloaded free) or on Phantomhelp.com.

Any other information you could provide about the RC or Drone's actions (Lights, app messages, etc) will help others diagnose the issues.
