I am using my Phantom in some very remote areas, far away from any internet.

I want to be able to create my route while I sit in my office some 100Nm from my intended flight. So the only way i can do this is by using the actual lat and lon of the area i want.

Is there any way of going to a point using coordinates ?

I tried my best just using the map, unfortunately this has proved impossible.. All my work is over the jungles of Papua and I am searching for a small village..

Any help is appreciated,

Andrew

If you have internet at your office use Google Earth on your iPad (or Windows laptop, I assume, though I don't use one) to view and cache the maps where you propose to fly a GS mission. Then, when you arrive at the remote location, plot your mission and away it goes....

Most of my flights are beyond cell phone and internet coverage, so this works just fine for me.
