Litchi download from Amazon or Google

I am new to this game and have set up my kindle fire 8 to run DJI Go successfully. Having read about Litchi I downloaded the version from Kindle store which was £3 - £4 cheaper than the google version. Alas I cannot get it to connect fully with my Phantom 3 Pro. No video nor motor control. Is there a difference between the amazon and google Litchi versions or am I missing something obvious when trying to connect. I have looked at help screens and videos until my eyes become glazed.

Only thing differect are the letters at the end of the version. A for Amazon or g for Google

Thank you for that bit of info. I had another go and still no video /screen display from the camera BUT I removed the card from the machine and there were both pictures and videos saved from when I was trying everything in desperation. Camera control information is being received by the camera but the video signal back to the screen is not connecting. Any suggestions as to what setting I have missed.
