Does anyone have any guidance on climb or descent gradients for efficient altitude changes? I've been doing 10mph and 1:1(1ft vertical for every 1ft lateral) gradients but that's just a random stab at it. From what I can tell if the gradient is too steep it will slow the forward speed to compensate which is obviously losing some efficiency.
