Litchi 1.17.2 Precision Landing

I am running Litchi on an Ipad Air2. Running IOS 10.3.3

I have Litchi version 1.17.0 on the Ipad.
Would like to download latest version 1.17.2

When I go to the Ipad Apps Store, and then go to download Litchi, it says OPEN.
It opens the current version on the Ipad, and makes no attempt to download the latest version.
What am I doing wrong?

Just delete the app and download it again! Failing that, press the update button on the App Store 10 times in succession (this does some kind of reset).. but the first option should work!
