Limp Gimbal on startup

Guys,

When I power up the bird, the gimbal stays limp. Once I put the bird in the air it straightens out. Is this normal? I don't recall it doing this until recently.

My camera did the same thing last week. I had made several shoots and then it decided not to work. I tried rebooting both the RC and the drone, but nothing seemed to work. I finished the shoot with a Phantom 3. After returning home about three hours later I fired everything back up and it came back on like nothing had happened. Don't ask me why it quit or why it started working again. Good luck, hope yours comes back on.

Normal. It's initializing, stabilizing. The gimbal has its own internal IMU, separate from the dual IMU within the P4.
