Limp gimbal after ribbon replaced.....

Hey guys,
My P3S recently fell out of the sky and into a puddle of water. Long story short, I replaced all the components except the camera and gimbal. I took it apart and cleaned it once. It then would transmit video and the gimbal never had an issue. It still worked fine. Well, it started saying image transmission signal weak and had zero video even though the gimbal still worked fine at this time the P3S said there was no sd card also. Figured it was toast. So I replaced the ribbon cable as a last ditch effort as I saw a bit of yuck on it and now the video transmits just fine, the sd card communicates, but now my gimbal doesn't work at all!!! It did the opposite!!! Anyone have any reason to think that it may be a software issue?

Any help appreciated.

Just a guess. The first time may have been the black and grey wires. They transmit video and information. The ribbon gives power the the gimbal. Check it.

Thanks, I replaced the ribbon on the gimbal, not the grey one.

From the drone to the gimbal is a ribbon. It powers the gimbal so it can operate.
