Hi everyone,
Professional filmmaker from Johns Creek Georgia.
We are getting the Phantom II withe the Zenmuse 3 3d gimbal.
We are hoping to use the Letus anamorphic lens on the Gopro. Has anyone tried this?
Will it make the camera off balance or unusable on this gimbal?
Possible problems with the landing gear in view maybe?

Any info greatly appreciated! Thank you!

The gimbal is made / tuned for the weight of the Go Pro with battery. Any added weight might cause it not to work correct or put added strain on the motors

Forget it!

Firstly, I believe Letus only make the 2.39:1 adapter for the waterproof housing and NOT for a naked GoPro. The Zenmuse is not designed to take the GP in any form of housing.
Secondly, The Letus uses glass and plastic which will weigh far too much for the finely tuned Zenmuse to cope with.

I know this is an older topic, but I didn't want to post a new thread.

The Letus anamorphic adapter comes with an optional clamp to use on the GoPro body without a waterproof case. It does weigh an extra 2.2 oz to add on the gimbal, so I would guess that you could counter balance the gimbal, like what some people do with adding an ND filter, though the ND filter only weighs .3 oz. The reason the gimbal would have to work hard is if it's not balanced correctly.

I'm going to test this in the next couple weeks, I'll let you know how it goes.
