I'll just post what i learned being owner of p3a for 15 days. This is my first RC ever. Amateur photograph, know some basics.
  • respect & try to understand **** thing or it will drop of sky
  • 60fps really looks smooth. jaws are hard to do in 30fps
  • you need lots of interesting light. golden hour, etc...
  • DJI build great things but quality control & customers relations are bit rough
  • in general, camera on P3 shi**y, sharpness, compression, etc. small sensor, it's not your DSLR
  • video feed can break anytime, try to keep visual. i just almost lost mine yesterday :D

..any other beginners here. What are your thoughts?

To kill the motors in flight you really have to try bud. :)
Yes, but to take of with cold battery charged to ~80% on 1.5.some firmware, not watching voltage and push throttle full for ~40sec. There are lot's of reports that battery shouted off in thins kind of situations..
