Lens hood P3P?

Has anyone used a lens hood for the P3P? If so what are your thoughts?

i have one albeit a different model . havent really used it much the gimbal lock lens caps holds the gimbal at a weird angle im not comfortable with . went with the oem clear slider gimbal lock. will used the lens shade on my p3p on my next flight and will update results. supposed to reduce glare substantially apparently.

I am also interested in a hood but I was wondering what effect it would have on the gimbal. I have read that if you use a gimbal guard these hoods can hit the guard when the camera is looking straight down. They should definitely reduce glare and ghosting though.
