Hi all I'm wondering if anyone knows of, or has tried any kind of lens add on for the P3P 4k camera. Specifically, I was wondering if its possible to add an additional lens (similar to putting on a lens cap) that would increase the optical zoom. I'd think adding weight like that to the front of the camera would require a counter weight behind the camera to keep the gimbal pitch balanced. Has anyone ever experimented with this? Searches have turned up no results.

Short answer is no. The gimbal most likely will not support the extra weight and shift in Center of Gravity.

Yes, as I mentioned, If such a lens is available it would likely require a counterweight behind the camera to balance the extra weight. The thread you mentioned talks about the P4. I'm wondering if anyone has tried anything like this with P3P.
