I know I've left it late notice but I'm going on holiday in the morning from the UK to Cyprus.. Has anyone had an experience with taking their bird out there?

I will be taking it as hand luggage in the silver case it came in (P4) I was planning on taking it until a few people said a few things to put me off (never took it abroad before) quick replies appreciated ha :)

Thanks alot

People take Phantoms through airport security every day and the security staff there probably won't even blink.
Batteries must be in carry-on luggage
Google finds these relevant items on the rules in Cyprus:
