My TV is right next to a good size window that looks out into the backyard so I connected the HDMI cable to remote and TV and tried it out. There's lots of open sky back there so I could keep the bird in visual range from inside while still enjoying the image on the big screen. Well it's not even that big, but you get the idea. Anyway, it was kind of cool to fly live with that huge image.
Makes me think about building a "control tower" with some screens and computers up there. Oh, and a weather station - got put on of those on top!
