I just added an fpv-transmitter to my Phantom 2. Now it seems the quadcopter tends to drift to the left when I try to drive straight forward. Do I need some kind of recalibration to make up for the extra weight added to the drone? In that case, how is this done?

to re-calibrate just go into the phantom assistant and do an advanced IMU re-calibration and then recalibrate your compass. The Phantom should be able to adjust for the extra weight automatically (I didn't see any problem and I have 2 transmitters - the FPV and the Ground station) - might just be your compass is a little off for some reason (and might just be a coincidence)

The IMU is not an issue but the compass is a must.

Anytime you add, remove, or relocate anything in or on your quad compass cal. is mandatory.
