Jacksonville/Amelia Island

It is indeed. But it's also a State Park. (No drones allowed)

But there are many other great spots here.
 
Well, it's an island. Lots of beach to the East. Marshland to the West. The southern half is wooded and wild (although being built up at an alarming rate).
 
where do you recommend to fly around that area? I was up there for dinner a couple of nights ago.
 
As the A1A corridor grows, there is lots of cleared ground west of the airport.
