Hey guys considering getting a DJI standard to fly in Miami but worried if I might fall short because of the range. Wondering if any of you guys fly in Miami and what are the common issues you have. I might be able to get the standard save some bucks instead of going for the advanced. Any suggestions?

Depends on just what you are planning to use it for . I like the Standard .
Advanced and Standard just different birds . As far as range ..the Adv.
I have not had any issue's with range yet but don't fly in a big city .

I agree with Dirk, depends on what you want to do. Also depends on where you fly. If you are in the middle of the city, or even in the burbs with plenty of interference, its definitely going to hinder your range. If all you care about is the range, then go for the Advanced. You can also mod the Standard like I've done to increase the range, while saving money at the same time (rather than flat out buying the Advanced).
