I installed my new 3D gimbal today and updated FC and gimbal firmware. I checked the IMU calibration and calibrated sticks before leaving the house. Also calibrated the compass in the field.
I flew it and found what looks like an un-commanded right drift. I can't tell if my P2 is drifting right or if the camera is holding a left pan, although I think it's the former because it felt like I could corrected with a slight aileron left.
The video linked here is forward flight - I wasn't even touching the left stick. It also shows a bit of yaw despite the 3D gimbal! On a positive note, the video does seem a lot more solid than my 2D gimbal, even in stronger wind.
