Is there a way to smooth intentional camera movement?

As most of you already know, when you move your camera angle wether with the app buttons or the iPhone movement, the cameras footage becomes a little jumpy.

Is there a way to make the movement a little smoother?

Not really, if you click the blue globe thing left side you can tilt the device instead - unhandy if it's clipped on the controller.
It seems a little easier to go smoothly and slower, but it still jerks in steps.

I really don't see why it has to be like this since the servo can operate without jumping in stages surely?

There's no servo , it brushless. Worked fine with channel 7
