Is GoPro hero 3+ Black ok now?

I remember when first released that people complained about focusing issues on the Hero 3+ Black. Background was out of focus. Have these issues been resolved as I am thinking of getting one to replace my Hero 3? Thanks!

I own a hero 3 black and I love it. I have no problems whatsoever. Quality of photos and video is outstanding in my opinion. Make sure to purchase one of the recommended sd cards from the go pros web sight. I think a lot of people are experiencing freezing because the sd card isn't a class 10.

I haven't seen if the latest shipping product has been updated to correct the infinity focus issue.

If you get the 3+ and see the problem it can be resolved with a lens adjustment.

Otherwise you may want to find an old stock Hero3 black. Just checked and BestBuy shows them in stock for $329 (assuming you are in a region where BestBuy is an available vendor).

I bought one in December and it is tack sharp. I made sure that before I bought the soft focus issue was resolved on 3+.
