Is an Apple iPad Air 2 an option for FPV???

I have a P2, 2.4mgh and would like to utilize my iPad Air 2 as my FPV. I will be using a Gopro Hero 4 Silver. Will the it work and if so, what exactly will I need to connect and make it work. I have heard it will and have heard it won't work.

I realize by looking at other threads that iPad Air 2 should work however as a relatively new guy on the block, I am not sure how to affect FPV. Hardware and software. Also, I read somewhere that my iPad would, or should have to have the gps element in it. Can someone with some expertise advise me please.

No, it will not work. You need a 5.8Ghz video transmitter (i.e. ImmersionRC) and a monitor with a receiver (i.e. Flysight Black Pearl).

As long as you have the cellular version of the Air 2, you have the GPS module.
