iPhone not charging when connected to RC

Hi all

Just got my P3 Pro, coming from a Phantom 2 with H3-3D gimbal. DJI have come a long way!

When I first got the P3 Pro and plugged my iPhone into it, the iPhone continued to charge. However, since I have updated my RC and Flight Controller etc, the iPhone no longer charges when connected to the RC.

It starts charging, and almost immediately stops charging. However connection to the Phantom 3 still works.

Is this normal? Have DJI now disabled charging of connected devices via the USB port?

My RC is fully charged by the way.

I think you'll find that Android devices charge from the RC, but Apple devices don't.

It does make the "bing" noise when you plug it in though, so I can see how you would think it was charging.

iPhone needs 1 Amp to charge it's battery whereas normal USB ports supply max 0.5 A. If iPhone screen is on, you may not get any battery charging else it will charge slowly.
