iPad Air 2 will not connect to my phantom 4 .

Hello has any body has had this problem with an apple iPad Air 2 that will not connect to the phantom 4 , I was using an apple iPad mini 2 with no problems so decided to use an iPad air2 for the bigger screen and faster processor but cannot connect to it I have tried just about everything that I can think off but haven’t had much luck . I am up to date with all off the updates , does any one have any subjections regarding this scenario.

Thank you and yes I have tried numerous cables including a brand new one as well as restoring the iPad a couple of times to factory status and reinstalling the DJI go app and nothing .
