I will find out tonight if this rumor is true or not but I read on the review of this app at apple that it will not allow you to fly at night. Does anyone know if this is true or not?

If you're referring to DJI GO, it does not prevent you from flying at night.

How do you define night? By local time or by sun light?

You need to do two tests:

1. Block the light to camera and try to fly during the day time

2. Try to fly at midnight

A person reviewed the DJI GO app at the apple app store. He said he can't fly at night. I will test it tonight to see but I'm glad msinger says it doesn't prevent this.
Interesting. Carry out the two tests I proposed. And publish the results.

Actually I looked for that review and couldn't find it. There were only two posted for 2.5.1 and I did see one titled "No fly nightmare". That's as close as I got to "no night flight"

It will always be a gruesome bloody nightmare, if you choose to believe everything you read on the interweb. Hahaha
