On the vision 2 + is home lock activated when in naza mode?

IOC is separate from NAZA. There are options in the assistant to specifically enable IOC.

I just learned this two days ago. I originally switched to NAZA Mode and had been using the S1 switch. Then the other day I figured I would use S2 switch to play around with course lock and home lock but the S2 switch did nothing. You have to also enable IOC in the software when connected to a computer.

Well that is a personal choice. It adds some nice capabilities if you feel comfortable enough with the added complexity. It's not really all that difficult you just have to be more aware of both switches.
