instant HEART ATTACK, can it get any closer?

Was out filming this during sunrise this morning:

I just kind of 'zoned out' for a brief moment while flying (not used to getting up at 5am on Sundays to get the beach to myself!), and then just about had a god damned heart attack when I snapped out of it:

If that had been an INCH closer, it would have been disaster instead of me counting my lucky stars.

There has to be a new name for this type of fright, maybe a phanting heart attack :eek:
 
When I watched, I said "Oh $h't" out loud. Glad you missed it. Shadow tells how close you really were. Yikes
 
After you put your heart back in the right place you must have thought "Pretty nice footage!" Thanks for sharing!

Glen, first off nice footage. Re: "close call" - sometimes the "old GoPro" makes things look alot closer than they actually are. If you were flying w/FPV it can be really deceiving, sometimes you'll think you flew right up to a target and you'll find your still 30 ft out.
But overall - yes heed the the words Fly Careful.

There was very little fish-eye because in 99% of all my shots I am pointing the camera straight ahead of the drone in order to minimize it's impact on the central most portions of the picture.
