I'm guessing you went with a knockoff instead of the more expensive Killer RC one? I've read a lot of reports of this issue with the knockoffs. The gap in the Killer RC one is almost imperceptible.

Yep, that's a knock off. I went through the same thing from Amazon. Then I got the killer RC one, now it's perfect.

No, that is not right send it back. Uninstall it and send it back, it won't help at all. I think they put the wrong "bumper" on it or it was cut and tapped at the wrong length.

I have the same one, I just machined a little off the arm in my milling machine. You can do the same by using a file or sanding it off. Do a little then test fit.
