Hello Phantom Class. I'm from Brazil and in April I'm going to Vancouver in Canada on vacation, someone can let me know if there is any kind of restriction to fly there or the flight is authorized. I appreciate the information

IIRC, B.C. has quite traditional regulations with the notable exception of not being allowed to fly 'within 100m of people'. And no national parks of course.

On the other hand, I talked to a couple Vancouver based film makers and they are all flying downtown.. Granville/English bay etc.

Better double-check that tho.

It's 150m (football field and a half) AWAY from people (or property), not 100m. Also don't fly higher than 90m above ground, and 9km near any airports. National park ban is legit, however provincial parks are not the same as national so know the difference.

Transport Canada guideline can be found here:

Flying your drone safely and legally - Transport Canada

Note: This is slated to change mid year to something similar to the FAA regs south of the border so enjoy it while it lasts.

Edit: clarification on distance.
