IMU re-calibrations after air travel?

I am flying from MSP to SAN with my P3P in a DJI hard backpack in carry on. Will I need to (or should I) do a re-calibration of the IMU when I get there? I am sure a lot depends on the flight, but what will be the dead give away that I should re-calibrate? Also, how do you get it cold for a re-calibrate in a San Diego hotel if needed?

No you shouldn't need to recal the imu. You really only need to do that after a crash or your phantom has been shaken up pretty badly
