IMU Calibration

Hey guys, so I am aware that it isn't necessary to calibrate the IMU after every flight. In my case, I take my phantom out, it AUTOMATICALLY calibrates the IMU on it's own on startup (why??) and then I can fly after waiting for it to calibrate. After I land, I turn it off and put the Phantom inside on my table. Then I continue the next day (or few hours) but no matter what, the IMU calibrates automatically after starting the Phantom. Is there any way to cancel this, or should I just let it do it's thing before every flight?

What message is it giving you that lets you know this?

Never watched that box during startup, I just verify the safe to fly part. Could it be the IMU comparing itself to the baseline you set when you calibrated it? Hopefully someone smarter than me will post, sorry
