Howdy folks,

First time poster, so be gentle...

I've got a Phantom2 with the Zenmuse H3-2D and just setup the FPV system with the ImmersionRC 600w transmitter and a Flysight Black Pearl 7". Everything has a stock antenna. I've got the monitor set for NTSC, dialed into the right band on Diversity mode, and am locked into the right channel with the ImmersionRC. But my range sucks! I get a nice clear picture when I'm close, but if I get more than a hundred feet away or so, the video signal gets all choppy and stat-icky. Any thoughts other than getting better antennas? I see videos folks post, and they're all getting killer distance!

Thanks in advance all!

Cheers,
Jared

I'm afraid in my experience its down to the antennas. The rubber ducks that come with both the BP and the IRC600 just didn't cut it. I went for the Horizon set of 3 (UK supplier) designed specifically for this combination.

@IrishSights Thanks for that tip! I'll look into those and maybe a US source for them. Cheers!

@OI Photography The Black Pearl I'm using has the SMA connectors.
