I hope this isn't old news but today I linked my phantom 3 to my Inspire 1 slave controller (had to set the controller as master and do a quick link up to the aircraft) and it worked great it allowed me to use the HDMI output on the RC to operate my ZEISS Cinemizer all functions seemed to work fine (except the landing gear up switch) I flew it around using the Cinemizer on the controller and it didn't seem any different than using the PH3 RC. And all I had to do is switch the RC controller back to slave and it was ready to use as a slave controller for the Inspire 1.
