How to Ditch 3.0 and Get Back to 1.038

Could one of you guys who is more technically adept please post step by step how to ditch 3.0 and get back to 1.038. Are there any downsides to doing this? Many thanks from everyone who is p.o.'d about this stupidity from DJI.

I downloaded the older versions of the app from bradatech.com's download page, and "updated" the software back to 1.08. I then used the 2.0 app to get to that version, but I'm thinking about going back to 1.08 because the GPS hover in 2.0 seems to be a bit less stable. I'm not sure if we're allowed to post full links here... if we are I'll post the link from the bookmarks in my browser later.
