I am about to purchase a Phantom 4 Pro with two additional batts, in a sealed box, from a private party.

The pricing is attractive.

The seller claims it was a gift, and has no backup doc.

How to check if oK and for real??

need immediate comments,

TNX !!

I'm normally wary of great price/no paperwork to substantiate a purchase. If you are still comfortable with proceeding, take someone with you that is experienced, open the box and confirm its actually a P4P and not a box of jelly beans. If possible, power it up, you will probably have to register it through the DJI app and test fly it.
If you get any push back, walk away from the deal. Drones are like buses, another one will be on the way in a couple of minutes.

If it's too good to be true, it is. I like Tevek's advice. It's not that difficult to re-seal a box. And what makes me wonder is the two extra batts. Someone handing out P4's as gifts probably would not think of one extra battery much less two.Personally I think the two extra batts are red flags.
