How much skill required to upgrade P4 to P4A

So I noticed that you can buy the pro/adv gimbal as replacement parts. Has anyone here tried to Frankenstein one of these together?

Are there other small differences between P4 and P4A that would prevent this from working?

Such as power consumption, connectors, lack of compatible hardware.

You'd need more than skill - the cameras are 100% non-compatible.
Your Phantom doesn't have what's required to connect to the 20MP camera and control it.

The P4A is a P4 pro with a few things missing.
The camera is the same.
