A buddy of mine got a Mavic last week and was super excited to fly it. So we went over to a friends property to test it out.
We wanted to try and get some video of it with my Phantom..... how hard could it be?

The close call wasn't that close but way closer than I was comfortable with....

I had a MUCH closer call with my P4 and my buddy's Inspire (carrying an X5R). I love doing "air to air" footage though..just need to be in close communication with others that are in the air!

It's freakin hard! Maybe I should put a little flag on the Mavic...

Been better, above the tree line, but, Mavic does look tiny
Very nice location for flying though, eh
Im lucky enough to know someone with a ranch in a town where people pretty much dont have those anymore and people dont want to see you flying, pretty much anywhere....good place to go camping too if I need to disappear!
