How do you screw in an M4 screw? Fixing controller

So I lost the screw that holds the tablet holder in place in the center of the controller. Went to Home Depot, bought some M4 screws and locknuts. However, I just got home and realized these screws aren't philips or flat heads... I'm not good with tools and such, and I'm confused how I'm supposed to tightly screw this in here. Pics attached. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Or you could use a Craftsman model 1019 Laboratory Edition Signature Series torque wrench. Calibrated by top members of the state AND federal Department of Weights and Measures... to be dead on balls accurate!

For an M4? Are you mad? That would require the model 1020b wrench. You know you just look silly when you make posts like that. Lol.
