Like altitude, distance and speed, basically what you see on your tablet or phone, how do you get that on your video, just curious!

Most people are importing the flight log data into DashWare.

It's no so simple, but you need to :

- extract .dat file from your Aircraft
- convert .dat file to .csv (using free DatCon software)
- use Dashware Windows Software to synchronize video and flight data

There is couple of HowTo on youtube

The result can be pretty interesting :)
Here one i'v done within 1 hour of work :

Hmmm I'm not to computer literate so I'll give that a miss lol!

Just use caption and open your video with VLC player.
Be sure to have .SRT file in the same directory and you will have LON-LAT and UltraSonic stats.

Yes I have that but that info seems pretty meaningless to me so I've turned subtitles off, would much rather it show altitude and distance

I wonder how difficult it would be for DJI to have an option to automatically include flight data into it's videos.

Possibly not everyone wants that automatically on their video. Would be nice if you can flip a swtich to put it or not put it on the video like the lights on the ac.

To superimpose the data onto the video would require a fair amount of processing power. It would require the video to be rendered with the data on the fly onto the memory card. A big ask.

On dashware a 30 minute flight takes 3-4 hours to ender on a I7 pc so I can see that DJI are not going to be rushing to do this. It would be nice if the editor on dji go could overlap the flight log onto the video on the tablet

Well, I use android and the app az screen recorder works brilliantly. What's funny also is it records audio from your phone so the conversations I have if people walk up and ask me stuff is always recorded now.

I'm kinda surprised no one has mentioned az screen recorder.

Also I agree, there should be a switch in the app just like for the leds that displays everything you see on your phone/tablet on the recorded video.
