"Hoover" when you dont touch the left stick.

My forst RC (dji) whent into center position when I took the hands off the stick. Now I am using a older RC and the left stick
stays where I put it and it not going into center position. I find it a bit more difficult to fly it in this way. How can I change the rc so it goes into center position when I let go.

I have both from shapeways. The one with no spring looks cool but its too stiff. I did not try the regular one. I need to but spring and couldn't find right size and stiffens.
